The Institute for Academic Development continues to offer a mix of online and on-campus activities to staff and students.

During AY25/26, we will be running an increased number of online sessions so do therefore check workshop and event information carefully when booking, to be sure of the mode of delivery.

PGT Dissertation Writing Consultations

An opportunity to discuss the effectiveness of your writing with an advisor. These consultations are for Masters (PGT) students currently writing their dissertation and due to submit this year.  They are online, one-to-one appointments where you can discuss how effective your words are at communicating your point. Advisors can also advise on structure, and approaches to writing, editing and proofreading.
