About the Institute for Academic Development

For undergraduate and taught postgraduate students, we offer Study Hub and Exam Bootcamp online resources, workshops, and 1-1 consultations to help you learn and study.

For postgraduate researchers and research staff, we offer a range of transferable skills, professional, personal and career development workshops, resources and support.

For staff who teach and support learning, we offer short practical workshops, online resources, staff networks, an annual Conference, plus routes to accreditation: Edinburgh Teaching Award (EdTA), Introduction to Academic Practice (IntroAP), and a PgCert in Academic Practice (PgCAP).
