My Role

I am a member of the Researcher Development team, with a focus on support for Research Staff.

I manage the Research Staff programme of training and support, which includes our Careers provision and our annual WriteFest programme.  I lead on the development and monitoring of the University’s Research Staff Hub and manage the Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers’ institutional action plan and reporting. 

My role involves working closely with colleagues across the University in implementation of the Concordat, supporting our research staff societies and postdoc champions’ networks and working on collaborative projects with HR around Technician career development and Induction support. 

I am a member of a number of internal committees and external Scottish and UK networks for researcher development.
