IAD winter closure dates

Winter closure 24/25

The IAD will be closed from 5pm on Monday 23 December 2024 and reopen at 9am on Friday 3 January 2025

During this time, staff and generic contact email accounts will not be answered / checked. Our offices will be closed.

Please get in touch with us once we reopen in early 2025.

There are a range of online support materials for staff and students that can still be accessed whilst we are closed.

Booking our workshops

Some workshops may already be open for booking for semester 2. You may still be able to book workshop places online during the winter closure period.

You can find some listings on our IAD website. Students can book workshops in the University Events Booking website (please select 'Institute for Academic Development' from the drop down list of providers.)
