About the final

The 2026 Three Minute Thesis Competition Final took place on Wednesday 24th June 2026 in the Nucleus Building, Kings Buildings. 

The winner of the competition is Brian O'Donovan with his presentation ‘From Complex Signals to Patient Insights’ 

The runner up of the competition is Rory Stewart with this presentation 'Cracking the Code of Osteoarthritis’  

The people's choice winner is Katrine Gaasdal-Bech with her presentation ‘Rewinding the clock: Can we make old brains young again?’
