Funding applications are an important part of academic life, and both the Research Development team, and the Learning and Teaching team in IAD can offer advice and guidance. Researcher developmentThe researcher development team can provide advice and text around training and development and research cultures for research related funding applications. Examples of what we can do include: Initial discussion about training, development and culture initiatives which may be of relevance to the call or application Input about costing for training and development Drafting of text about IAD training and development relevant to the application Feedback on draft text on training and development in applications The extent to which we can provide this advice and support will depend on a number of factors and it is always advisable to have these discussions as far in advance as possible. Some of the members of our team are experienced and internationally recognised educational researchers. Others focus more on the broad scholarly underpinning of learning and teaching work in this University. Across the team we have rich experience of how educational projects play out in contemporary higher education.The level of support we can provide for bids and projects will depend on current expertise and workloads in the team as well as University strategic priorities.
