Practical strategies series

Our 'Practical strategies for ...' workshop series runs through each academic year, offering a range of relevant learning and teaching themed topics. Information on workshops and online booking.

About the series

‘Practical strategies for…’ is a workshop series that covers a broad range of current and future-oriented learning and teaching topics. The workshops are interactive and provide staff with opportunities to reflect on their own practice. The aim is that staff will leave with practical ideas they can take away and apply in their own disciplinary and interdisciplinary contexts.

Workshops typically last for 1.5 hours and are not recorded. A full list of previous topics and speakers is provided below.

Who is the series for?

The workshops are open to staff from any discipline and at any level across the university, including Tutors and Demonstrators.

2024/25 schedule
